PLAYBACK MODE (CONTD.)
Video playback:
When viewing recordings within playback mode, there are the standard controls one would expect
to see, such as play, pause, stop, etc.
There are also some advanced functions such as deleting unwanted files and protecting recordings so
they cannot be accidentally deleted.
Once the required folder has been selected, recordings will be seen in the ‘preview’ screen, as shown
below.
1. Protect
This can be used to protect the current recording, thus preventing it from being deleted
accidentally or over-written as part of the card looping logic.
Playback must be paused before the recording can be protected and /or unprotected.
Note:
- This will not change the file location, for example the newly protected file will remain
in the original ‘Video’ folder.
2. Previous
View the previous recording.
3. Play
Start and pause playback.
4. Next
View the next recording.
5. Delete
Delete the current recording, there will be an additional confirmation message to prevent
files from being deleted accidentally.
Note:
- The controls close automatically after 4 seconds, if the touch screen is not used. Tap the screen
to re-open the last seen controls.
