Setup Menu - Bottom of List
You can return to the home panel at any time by pressing the ‘X’ in the upper right corner.
Press on the name of the Setup parameter to display the current R2L parameter settings in the
right side. To move to another Setup parameter, simply press the name. There is no ‘close
Setup parameter’ function. Again, the ‘X’ in the upper right corner will return you to the home
panel.
Each Setup parameter is set using a numeric value. The value is displayed in a box along the top
of the parameter editor on the right side of the panel. To change the value, press on the box
where the current value is displayed. This will open up the parameter keypad which you can
use to change the value. Enter the desired value using the keypad and press the ‘OK’ button.
You can also press the ‘XX’ button to close the parameter keypad.
The parameter keypad is also used by the Applications function.
Each of the Setup parameters has a minimum and maximum value. While you can enter a value
that exceeds the range and press the ‘OK’ button, the R2L will store the minimum or maximum
value – not the value that was entered.
The units of the numeric value displayed are either decimal inches or millimeters where the
parameter is associated with a length or distance. This is controlled by the Display Units
selected. ‘inch’ and ‘1/#’ result in the display of decimal inches. ‘mm’ results in the display of
millimeters. The Display Units plays no role in the display of the numeric value when the
parameter is a metric (a number with no units of measurement).
