Avoid operating the breaker with the excavator’s boom
and arm cylinders in the fully extended position; keep at
least 100 mm(4in) gap for recoil from cylinders strike
.
Operate your breaker only in front of or at the back of
the equipment. Working from the sides may cause
rollover of the equipment.
Working at
the same point
for a long time creates a thick
stone dust layer which slows the breaking effect. Move
your breaker to another object if there is no breaking for
more than 15 seconds. Constant breaker operation for
more than 30 seconds may cause the working surfaces to
overheat in the pair of piston-sleeves and it will increase
the chances of galling as well as seal damage. Stop time
should be
longer
than the time of operation.
Keep the incline of the breaker, it should not exceed
±15° from perpendicular position to the demolition
surface.
Do not use your breaker as a hoist; it may cause the
equipment to roll over.
