Configuring the NR304G-4W as COE:
Use the console port for the configuration. Connect the CONSOLE port to a serial (COM) port
of your computer using the console cable (the enclosed cable in the box). Use a terminal
emulation program with the following parameters:
9600 bps, No parity, 8 data bits, 1 stop bit, NO flow control / VT100 terminal emulation
Power on the router and enter the password to log in the router. The default password is a
small letter “password”. If you log in the router, the login prompt

4W> appears.
Enter
enable
command and the password to enter configuration mode. The default password is
a small letter “password”. The prompt changes to the configuration mode prompt
(conf)#

Configuration changes can be made only in configuration mode.

Restoring the factory default settings and then log in the router again.
NR304G-4W(conf)# write config –default
WARNING !!!
this will overwrite the current setting:
Confirm ? (y/n)
=> enter y
NR304G-4W(conf)# reboot flash
Remove Bridging mode from each interface.
NR304G-4W(conf)# interface lan bridge disable
NR304G-4W(conf)# interface mx0 bridge disable
Unbind all the ports from the mx0.
NR304G-4W(conf)# device mx0 unbind all
Set the device type, side and a line rate of each SHDSL port.
NR304G-4W(conf)# device s0 gshdsl co 2320
NR304G-4W(conf)# device s1 gshdsl co 2320
Set
Bridging
mode to each interface.
NR304G-4W(conf)# interface s0 bridge enable
NR304G-4W(conf)# interface s1 bridge enable
NR304G-4W(conf)# interface lan bridge enable
Set the IP address of the LAN interface. (for management)
NR304G-4W(conf)# interface lan ip 203.210.10.2 255.255.255.0
