COBALT POINT REPLACEMENT
HELPFUL HINT:
Leave the unit mounted on the drum to replace cobalt points.
1.
Open the lid and remove the left and right shrouds.
2.
Loosen the bottom clamp on the bellows. There is no need to
loosen the top bellows clamp, unless the bellows are damaged and
need replaced.
3.
Remove the trough liner can stop.
Bellows may have to be
gently pried off of lower bushings to rotate assembly up.
Rotate
the trough assembly upward and allow it to rest against the lid.
4.
Loosen the setscrew with a 3/32” hex key and then
replace the
point. Tighten the setscrew against the new point. Do not use
locktight on this setscrew.
5.
Re-assemble the unit in reverse order.
SAFE2FILTER REPLACEMENT
1)
Remove the filter lid from the element by grabbing the edge and pulling upwards (you can pull on the check
valve to expose the edge.)
2)
Lift off the filter element from the base.
3)
Install the new element onto the filter base.
4)
Replace the filter lid by pressing it into the top of the element.
5)
Dispose of the used filter element appropriately.
