Connect the tubing that is supplied with the unit to
the nearest cold water source. Make sure there is
sufficient tubing for the unit to be moved freely for
cleaning and service. Also make sure the tubing is
not pinched or damaged during transportation and/or installation.
Position the unit to allow air to flow through the front grille (see figure 1).
Wipe the inside of the unit and the ice bucket with a damp cloth.
REVERSING THE DOOR
This ice maker’s door can be opened from the left or right side. The unit is
delivered to you with the door opening from the left side (hinged on the right).
To reverse the opening direction you will need a Phillips head screwdriver.
1.
Remove the cover from over the hinge. Unscrew two screws and lift the
door from the pivot rod to remove it from the unit.
2.
Remove 4 plastic caps from the left side of the unit – two on top of the
cabinet, one on top of the door, and one on the bottom of the door. Place
the caps in the corresponding holes in the opposite side of the unit.

Move the hinge from the right side of the door to the left side of the door.
4.
Twist to remove the pivot rod from the right side of the cabinet. Unscrew
the screw on the left side of the cabinet and replace it with the pivot rod.
Put the screw in the pivot rod’s original hole.
5.
Put the door back on the pivot rod. Attach the hinge to the left side of the
unit with two screws. Replace the hinge cover.
Energy Saving Tip:
The ice maker should be placed in the coolest
area of a room, away from heat sources and direct sunlight.
