47. Loosen the clamp

on the intake manifold for the

output hose of the after cooler.
Loosen the clamp

(2)

from the body of the

DEF/A

LUE

tank vent filter.

48. Loosen the clamp on the after cooler, and remove the

output hose of the after cooler from the machine.

49. Tag and disconnect the fuel filter heater wire

(1)

and

the water sensor

(2)

. Then drain fuel filter and discon-

nect the inlet

(3)

and outlet

(4)

fuel lines from the fuel

filter head. Plug the lines and cap the fittings.
Remove the ground wire and the attachment bolt

(5)

of the fuel filter head.

50. Tag and remove the grid heater cable

NOTE:

hold the rear nut with a second wrench to prevent

grid heater damage.
