Back Panel and Laser-Cavity Connections.
There are several input and output connectors on the back of the laser
controller.

Laser Sync Output: This output is used only during the laser
manufacturing process.
2.
Interlock: For use with external safety systems, the laser will
not operate if the interlock circuit is open.
3.
IEEE 488: Connector for controlling the laser over an IEEE-488
(GPIB) interface.
4.
Current Modulation Input: BNC connector for modulating
the laser current (amplitude).
5.
Detector Input: BNC connector for monitoring an external
instrument through the laser controller’s computer interface.
6.
Power Module: The operating voltage is displayed on the
power module. The module also contains the fuses for the unit.
7.
RS232: Connector for controlling the laser over an RS-232
interface.
