Start Scanning

Syntax

:OUTPut:SCAN:STARt <value>

Description

Begins a wavelength scan. The argument to this
command determines the type of scan and.
The *OPC? command will return 0 until the stop
wavelength is reached on the last scan.

Argument

x
Range: -4, -3.
x=-3: Run one automated step scan.
x=-4: Run one interactive step scan.

Example

Run an interactive step scan:

Description

In interactive step-scan mode, tunes the laser to the
next step, as defined by the step size (page 43). If the
next step is past the stop wavelength, this com-
mand will reset the laser to the start wavelength.
