Notes :
1)
The device only wakes up and performs data sampling according to MinTime Interval. When it is on sleeping mode, it does
not collect data.
2)
The data collected is compared with the last data reported. If the data variation is greater than the ReportableChange value,
the device reports according to MinTime interval. If the data variation is not greater than the last data reported, the device
reports according to MaxTime interval.
3)
We do not recommend to set the MinTime Interval value too low. If the MinTime Interval is too low, the device wakes up
frequently and the battery will be drained soon.
4)
Whenever the device sends a report, no matter resulting from data variation, button pushed or MaxTime interval, another
cycle of MinTime/MaxTime calculation is started.
6. Application
In the case of detecting the water level of a water tower/tank, install the device on the top of the water tower/tank and power on the
device after the fixation is completed. The device collects the distance between the water level and the sensor and the percentage of
the water level in the water tower/tank once in a while.
H
: the height of the water tank (this value can be set with the payload command; the “fillmaxdistance” in payload means H)
D
: the distance between the device and the water (this value is “distance” in uplinks)
L
: the water level (this value can be calculated by the “distance” in uplink and “fillmaxdistance” in payload)
Calculation: L = fillmaxdistacnce – distance
d
: the DeadZoneDeistance set by the equipment (the distance that cannot be detected by the actual equipment)
FillLevel
: the percentage of the water level in the water tank.
The value of the total height of the water tank / tower can be set through commands according to the specific scene.
Illustration 1
FillLevel = ((H - D) / H) * 100%
