DHCP:
Specifies that the V100 ATA must request its TCP/IP address
details from a DHCP service running on your network. This
service is usually available on your ADSL modem / router.
Fixed IP:
Allows you to specify the addressing details of the V100 ATA on
your network:
IP Address:
The unique address of the V100 ATA on your network.
Subnet Mask:
The subnet mask of your network.
Default Gateway:
The gateway's address through which the V100 ATA communi-
cates with the Internet. This is usually your modem / router.
DNS 1:
The Domain Name Service that the V100 ATA uses to resolve
domain names to IP addresses. This is usually your modem /
router.
DNS 2:
The Domain Name Service that the V100 ATA uses to resolve
domain names to IP addresses. This is usually your modem /
router. DNS 2 can be a different address to DNS 1 to provide a
backup DNS server if DNS 1 fails.
Once making any changes to the settings click the Apply button.
