PSU voltage operating ranges are nominally 100V to 240V AC, selected automatically. A typical PSU 
is shown in 

Figure 2–8

.

2.7.1 Multiple Power Supply Units

The SteelStore appliance includes two PSUs fitted in the Power Supply Mounting Cage, providing dual 
power sources for the system so that if one PSU fails the other maintains the power supply and appliance 
operation is not affected while the faulty unit is replaced.

PSU replacement should only take a few minutes to perform but must be completed within 10 minutes 
of removing the failed PSU.

Important

Operation of the appliance with ANY modules missing will disrupt the airflow and the system will 
not receive sufficient cooling. It is ESSENTIAL that all apertures are filled before operating the 
unit.
