Use the T-nuts inserted into the 2040 profile in chapter 3.1.1 to attach the  Y-end plate 

–

 loose end to 

the 2040 profile (front). Note that there is a precision washer between each screw and the plate. 
Since the final position of  the X-axis is not yet known before the X-axis is installed in the 
construction, do not fully tighten the M5 x 16 mm flat head screws  .
