6. Operation of the laser in detail
6.1 Setting the speed of rotation
After switching on, the rotation laser runs at the highest speed (500 rpm). This can be changed
in two different ways:
6.1.1 Calling up pre-set speeds
By pressing the buttons 2 or 12, one of three pre-defined speeds (200 rpm, 350 rpm and 500
rpm) can be selected in accordance with the following scheme.

350 rpm
200 rpm

6.1.2 Continuous adjustment of speed
The speed of rotation can also be continuously adjusted
between 200 rpm and 500 rpm with the help of buttons 1
or 11 (to reduce the speed) and 10 or 18 (to increase the
speed).
Following this fine speed adjustment, if button 2 or button 12 is pressed, the speed last selected
using this button is set once more.
6.2 Scan and Spot mode
The scan and spot mode is activated by pressing the button 9 or 17. The following line widths
are available:
•
0° (point mode)
•
5°
•
10°
•
15°
The next larger or smaller line width is selected with each successive press of the button 9 or 17
respectively.
