How to use:
1. Before use, please disinfect the probe with alcohol first.
2. Press the on/off button, Bi sound will be heard and display 88.88 °C for about 2 seconds.
3. After that, the thermometer will display the last temperature memory record for about
2 seconds, and then display L °C, signal °C flashing, that means the thermometer is
waiting for use. If the temperature measured is below or above the display range the
thermometer will display either the “L” or the “H” symbol. The display range for this
thermometer is 32.00 °C to 43.00 °C.
4. Use the thermometer to measure body temperature. The value of temperature displayed
will arise gradually and °C is flashing.
5. The measurement process usually takes about 1 min (in oral). After measurement, °C will
stop flashing and the alarm signal will sound for about 5 seconds, at the same time, the
thermometer will display the user’s body temperature.
6. This thermometer can automatically shut off within 10 minutes after measurement. It is
recommended to turn off the power manually right after measurement in order to save
energy.
Take temperature:
When you measure your body temperature, please remain to measure at the same place for
some time.
1. To take temperature under tongue, before measurement please close your mouth for
5 minutes, then insert the sensor part under the tongue, keeping nestled and close your
mouth. LCD reading is final reading.
2. To take temperature in the armpit, before measurement please completely wipe the
sweat there away, then close the armpit for about 5 minutes and insert the sensor part
against the center of the armpit closely. Intersect both left and right waist, making the
thermometer in contact with the user’s body closely. Add 0.5 °C to LCD reading to obtain
final reading.
3. To take temperature in the rectum, inserts the sensor part into anus gently. Minus 0.5 °C
to LCD reading to obtain final reading.
Cautions:
1. Do not bend or drop the thermometer.
2. Please disinfect the probe with alcohol, do not boil the probe.
3. Do not put the thermometer in contact with chemical reagent or diluents.
4. Avoid exposing the thermometer under direct sunlight.
5. Don’t disassemble the thermometer except replacing the battery.
6. This thermometer has already been calibrated while making. If use according to the
operation instruction, there’s not need to calibrate again.
Battery replacement:
1. The battery needs to be replaced by a new battery when the LCD displays or .
2. Please open the battery cover, take out the old battery with a toothpick.
3. Place a new 1.5 V button battery (LR/SR-41).
4. Replace the battery cover.
