Disassembly and Reassembly 3-13

Locate and remove the screw that secures the board to the system.

Locating/Removing the LED status board screw

A – Screw

C – LED Status Board Cable Connector

B – LED Status Board

Lift the LED status board out of the system.

IR/Sound Board

Use the following procedure to remove the IR/sound board.

Remove the keyboard, front cover assembly, top cover assembly, and PC card assembly
from the system.

Locate and remove the two screws that secure the IR/sound board to the system. (The screw
to the right also secures a protective plate not shown in the diagram.) Lift the board out of
the system.
