NOTE
If operating the system on DC power,
verify that the system has a charged battery pack
installed.
Cable Connections
Figure 2-3 shows the rear external connectors for the system. Where appropriate, secure
cables by tightening the cable holding screws.

Function
USB Port (right side)
Connects to a 4-pin USB device.
TV Output Jack (right side)
Connects to a RCA jack.
AC Power Port (right side)
Connects to a AC adapter.
Keyboard/Mouse Port
Connects to a PS/2-style mouse, or a 101-key, external PS/2-style
keyboard.
Parallel Port
Connects to a 25-pin parallel device.
Expansion Connector
Provides a 75-pin connector to attach the optional NEC Docking
Station 6000 Plus, MiniDock 6000 or PortBar 6000.
Monitor Port
Connects to a 15-pin external CRT.
Serial Port
Connects to an RS-232C device.
Audio Ports (left side)
Connects to 4 mini pin jacks.
