This category allows you to select the type (or degree) of power saving and is directly related to the
following modes:
1. HDD Power Down
2. Doze Mode
3. Suspend Mode
There are four selections for Power Management, three of which have fixed mode setting.
Disable (Default)
No power management. Disables all four modes.
Min. Power Saving
Minimum power management. Doze Mode=1hr. Standby Mode=1hr.,
Suspend Mode=1hr., and HDD Power
Down=15min.
Max. Power Saving
Maximum power management. – Only Available For SL CPU’s.
Doze Mode=1 min., Standby Mode=1min., Suspend Mode=1min.,
and HDD Power Down=1min.
User Defined
Allows you to set each mode individually. When not disabled, each
of the ranges are from 1 min. to 1 hr. except for HDD Power Down
which ranges from 1 min. to 15 min. and disabled.
ACPI Suspend Type
This item will set which ACPI suspend type will be used. S1 (POS) The S1 sleeping state is low
wake-up latency sleeping state. In this state, no system context is lost(CPU or chip set) and
hardware maintains all system context.
