RAM
Random-access memory. Memory in which infor-
mation can be accessed in an arbitrary manner. This
memory can be written to and read from.
Remote Queue
This is used to review the status of your queued print
job at the remote printer.
ROM
Read only memory. Memory whose contents can be
read but not changed.
screen font
A font that can be displayed on the monitor screen.
Server
A software configuration of SuperScript for users
whose computers have network connections and
printers connected that may be shared with other
clients on the network.
Share
To make a Server's printer available for Clients in
the network.
SIMM
An option you plug inside the printer to increase
printer data storage.
SuperScript
This provides an easy way to configure the
Console
SuperScript printer and to monitor and control print
jobs.
symbol set
The characters and special symbols that make up a
font.
toner cartridge
A cartridge that contains the toner powder used in
the printing process.
