Security with Mechanical Locks and Monitoring

Note: the keys (one set for both locks) can be found on the

back panel.

Front Door Lock

The front door is fitted with a lock, preventing unauthorized access to the drives, front
panel buttons and ports.

Right Side Door Lock

The right side door is fitted with a lock, preventing unauthorized access to the inside of
the system’s chassis.

Chassis Intrusion Switch

This feature consist of a chassis-mounted intrusion detection sensor (or switch). This
sensor sends a high-level signal when a chassis component is removed or replaced. A
message is displayed during POST at the next reboot, and in the ASWM management
utility.
