Installing the switch in a 19-inch rack

3.1.1 Installation prerequisites

The rack depth for the QX-S6648XP-6Q is a maximum of 600.5 mm so that the rack door
can be closed easily.

The rack depth for the QX-S6648XT-6Q is a maximum of 657.5 mm so that the rack door
can be closed easily.

The rack depth for the QX-S6632QP is a maximum of 857.5 mm so that the rack door can
be closed easily.

3.1.2 Mounting bracket and rack mounting rail kits

The QX-S6600 Series Ethernet Switches come with a pair of mounting brackets (see
Figure 3-2) and a pair of chassis rails and a pair of slide rails (see Figure 3-3).
