2) Pull down the lever on the SFP/SFP+/QSFP+ module.
3) Hold the lever and pull out the module.
Connecting a interface cable
CAUTION:
After the interface cable connects to the switch, disconnect the interface cable if the port LED is blinking. And,
please check the network and the configuration of the switch.
3.7.1 Connecting a UTP cable
To connecting an interface cable:
1) Wear an ESD-preventive wrist strap and make sure it makes good skin contact and is
well grounded.
2) Insert a UTP cable until you hear a click.
NOTE:
You must use Category5 cable or better (including Cat5e and Cat6).
The UTP cable is used for the connecting to 1/10G BASE-T autosensing Ethernet port, 10/100/1000Base-T
autosensing Ethernet port, Management Ethernet port and 1000BASE-T-SFP.
3.7.2 Connecting a fiber optic-cable
CAUTION:
Do not look in the port of each SFP/SFP+/QSFP+ module.
Please check the RX/TX position of SFP/SFP+/QSFP+ module by the direction of RX/TX which is ▲ or ↑.
1) Wear an ESD-preventive wrist strap and make sure it makes good skin contact and is
well grounded.
2) Do clean a LC connector with a dedicated optical connector cleaner.
3) Insert a fiber optic-cable as shown in Figure 3-25 until you hear a click.
