2. Installation and Connections

Setting Up the Screen and the Projector

The further your projector is from the screen or wall, the larger the image. The minimum size the image can be is
21 inches (0.53 m) measured diagonally when the projector is 29 inches (0.73 m) from the wall or screen. The larg-
est the image can be is 300 inches (7.62 m) when the projector is about 386 inches (9.8 m) from the wall or screen.
Use the drawing below as a guide.
Selecting a Location
Your projector is simple to set up and use.
But before you get started, you must first:

Set up a screen and the projector.

Connect your computer or video equip-
ment to the projector. See pages 12 ,
14 , 15 , 16 , 17 , 18 , 19 .

Connect the supplied power cable.
See page 21 .
NOTE: Ensure that the power cable and any
other cables are disconnected before moving the
projector. When moving the projector or when it
is not in use, cover the lens with the lens cap.
TIP: The screen sizes above are intermediate values between tele (minimum display area) and wide (maximum display area). Im-
age size can be adjusted with the zoom adjustment up to a maximum of 10%.
