1-2. Connect the Battery Backup Unit

Each Server has different procedure to install the BBU. Refer to the server

’s manual to

check the steps.

Notice



Do not apply the pressure on hold the part shown in figure with too much power.

Parts might be damaged.



Be attentive to the direction of connectors when you connect BBU(NE3703-501)

to a RAID controller with a Battery Control Cable.



Align BLACK dot on the connectors of a Battery Control Cable with the

Connector of RAID controller / BBU.
If you reverse connection, parts might be damaged.
