Installing the Operating System with Express Setup 5-25

SAN Boot

If you use SAN boot, confirm BIOS Setup before setup Windows.

If you use SAN boot with N8403-027, set following BIOS setting.

[Advanced]

[Peripheral Configuration]

→

[SATA AHCI] and [SATA RAID] change to

[Disabled].

If you use SAN boot with N8403-026, set following BIOS setting.

[Advanced]

→

[PCI Configuration]

→

Option ROM Scan [Enabled]

→

[Disabled]

IMPORTANT:

After executing [Load Setup Defaults], set this BIOS

setting. If you do not set up BIOS setting, you could not install
Windows.
