Notes on Using Your Tape Blade

Dispose of the CPU Blade, Tape Blade, Blade Enclosure, option board, floppy disks, and
DVD/CD-ROMs according to all national laws and regulations.
IMPORTANT:
Make sure to completely erase your data from the cartridge so that the
data will never be reused or illegally used.

The Tape Blade contains some components that are only good for a limited period of time
and require replacement (e.g., lithium or Li-Ion battery). For stable operation of the Tape
Blade, NEC recommends you replace these components on a regular basis. Consult with
your service representative for replacement or the product lives.
WARNING
Do not remove the battery.
The Tape Blade contains the lithium battery. Do not remove the battery. Placing
the battery close to a fire or in the water may cause an explosion.
For the location of battery on the option board, refer to the manual that comes
with the option board.
