8. In the left column, click PowerChute.
9. On the PowerChute network shutdown page, use the shutdown behavior
settings shown in Table A-2 . Click Apply after you modify the settings.

Capacity The minimum battery capacity before
returning power to load. 0%
Low-Battery Duration The time from a low-battery signal until the
load is shut down. 2 minutes
Shutdown Delay The time from when the shutdown command
starts until the load is shut down. This time
should allow the operating system to
completely shut down under application
load. You should test the system to measure
the time required to shut down. To do so,
measure the shutdown time on all systems
powered by the UPS. Add 50% to the largest
measured value. The Shutdown Delay
setting must be at least as long as the
computed value to ensure that UPS power
remains during a complete shutdown. 20 seconds
(minimum)
Return Delay The minimum time from the return of the AC
line to repowering the load. 0 seconds
Sleep Time The time, in hours, that the UPS sleeps
before it restores power to the load. 0 hours
