Power On/Off

Power On/Off

You can use your handset after set up of the e808 is completed. This section describes how to turn the power

on/off, how to enter the PIN code, and how to set the clock to use the e808.

Power On/Off

You can power on or off on the e808. Proceed as described below.

To Power On

Ensure that your USIM card is in your e808 and that the battery is charged.

Press and hold the

End (On-Off)

key until power is on.

The term “press and hold” is equivalent to a key press time of approximately 2 seconds.

To Power Off

In standby mode, press and hold the

End (On-Off)

key until power is off. There may be some delay while the

handset powers down. Do not repower the handset during this time.

Entering PIN Code

You can enter your PIN code. Proceed as described below.

To Enter PIN

Ensure that your USIM card is in your e808 and that the battery is charged.

Press and hold the

End (On-Off)

key until power is on.

Enter PIN

is displayed, enter your PIN.

If you make a mistake while entering your PIN, erase the wrong number by pressing the

CLR

key. The

code you enter appears as asterisks (

✱

Press the

SK1 (OK)

key or

Enter

key.

When connecting to the network, the name

will appear. If you are connecting onto another network,

the name of another operator will appear.

If you enter your PIN incorrectly three times in a row, the USIM card will be locked. You can unlock it by

using your Personal Unlock Key (PUK). Please contact

for your PUK code.
