Lock now
Turns the dial lock function on. This function cancels any key
operation except emergency calls, answering a call by the
Start
key, turning off the ringtune by the
CLR
key, rejecting a call by
the
End
key, pressing and holding the
End
key to turn e808 on/
off, earpiece volume control by the
Up
or
Down
key while talking,
and turning off the alarm by any key. To turn the dial lock function
off, press a number key and enter the Code Number.
Start-up lock
Turns the start-up lock function on/off. This function turns the dial
lock setting on automatically when e808 is turned on.
Change code
Changes the Code Number required to confirm important
actions, such as deleting all contacts. This requires the Code
Number to avoid accidental operation.
To change the Code Number, enter a new code (4 numbers),
then enter the new code again for confirmation.
Note :
When purchased, the Code Number is set to 0000.
# on start-up
Turns the start-up keyboard lock function on/off. This function
turns the keyboard lock setting on automatically when e808 is
turned on. The keyboard lock function cancels any key operation
except making emergency calls, receiving/during a call, turning
power on/off by the
Start
and
End
keys, and stopping the alarm
clock/schedule alarm rings/vibrates.
Note :
You can turn on/off the keyboard function manually by
pressing and holding the
#
key on the standby screen.
Note :
While the pop-up message indicating the keyboard lock
activation is displayed, pressing and holding 0 key will not
enter 0. Just press 0 when making emergency calls. You
can quit from the pop-up message by not operating the
keys for a while, or by pressing the
SK2 (Quit)
key.
Note :
When the start-up dial lock and start-up keyboard lock
functions are set at the same time, the handset only turns
on the start-up dial lock function.
Note :
If you activate the keyboard lock is activated by pressing
the
#
key while another application is active, the effective
keys for that function will still work (keyboard lock is only
effective on the standby screen).
