6. Disconnect SAS cable from SAS connector on
motherboard, and connect that cable to
PORT(0-3) connector on RAID Controller.
For N8103-168, the location of connector
PORT(0-3) differs from that of
N8103-172/173/174, thus the longer cable
length is required. Extend the excess length
portion before connecting the cable. See the
figure below for excess length portion.
Connect a cable for FBU (Flash Backup Unit) of
600-mm length that comes with RAID Controller.
Align the marking on connector with that on
cable.

Port0-3 connector
Remove the fan duct before extending the excess length portion. Lift the
fan duct while pushing it toward the direction indicated by an arrow.

Remove the cable tie to
extend the excess length
portion, and fasten it again
with cable tie.
