A – Diskette Drive Busy Lamp

CD-ROM/DVD Drive

Your computer comes with a high-speed ATAPI CD-ROM
drive or a DVD drive. The CD-ROM/DVD drive operates at
different speeds depending on whether the CD you are using
contains data or music. High-speed operation lets you get
your data faster and see smoother animation and video.

Note: The CD-ROM/DVD drive in your

system might look different from the one shown
in the following figure. The features depend upon
the model you purchased.
