Introduction
1.1 Intended use
The Home Care Phone NEO IP/GSM is a unit designed for the purpose of provid-
ing security and a sense of comfort and safety for the user. The unit is primarily
designed for people living in their own apartments or homes.
NEO IP
The main unit communicates over Internet (IP) and the trigger communicates
over radio
, 869 MHz (Optionally 868 MHz).
Optionally the main unit can be equipped with a GSM module to act as a com

munications backup and then communicates over the GSM (cellular) network.

1.2 About this manual
This document is a combined advanced user and technical manual. In all sec-
tions where configurable functions are described, there is an instruction of how
to make the programming. The programming is done either locally with a Neat
Programming Unit (NPU) connected to a computer or over the network/Internet.
Values in lists, tables and pictures are default values, unless stated otherwise.

Overview
Home care phone NEO IP/GSM has the appearance as in the picture below. The
unit has been designed to make it as simple as possible to handle with maximum
safety. The size of the plastic cover is 190 mm x 180 mm x 32 mm.
