The test alarm interval can be set in hours or days.

1-100 means 1-100 hours
•
101-255 means 1-155 days

The first test alarm will be sent after a random time between 5 and 60 minutes
after installation. The second test alarm will be sent after a random period be
-
tween 1 hour and the number of hours given by the time interval. The reason for
this function is to avoid congestion of test alarms in the alarm receiver between
08.00 and 17.00 (normal installation working hours).
NEO IP/GSM can be configured to reset the test alarm timer when a normal
alarm has been sent and acknowledged. In this case the normal alarm has
replaced the test alarm and proved that the unit and the line are working. This
function is implemented to save costs for the user.

5.2 Reminder alarm
In e.g. a nursing home it is possible to set a demand for the personnel to be
present after an alarm. NEO IP/GSM will then call reminder alarms until the per

sonnel make a

indication on the unit.
To activate/deactivate the Reminder alarm, see Reminder on page 39.
The time to the first reminder alarm can be programmed and is set in minutes.
The second alarm will be sent after half of the time, and so on. The maximum
number of reminders are 255.
