Features and Options
The RealScan 74 is rich in features and options which puts it in a class by itself. This
section identifies the many features and options that are available.
Bi-Optic Scanning
The RealScan 74 combines scan patterns from both horizontal and vertical planes. The
combination of two scan patterns projecting from different directions permit products
to be brought into the scan zone with very little orientation of the bar code. Beginner
and veteran checkers learn to use the RealScan 74 very quickly. With minimal
training, users attain new levels of efficiency and productivity as they become familiar
with the bi ‐ optic scan zone.
