Some 7156 models may appear slightly different from what is shown in the
illustration. The procedures are the same for all models unless otherwise noted.
Use a paper clip or other pointed object to set the switches.
1. Open the front cover.
2. Set the switches to the desired settings shown in the table.
Switch 1 must be set to Off for the on-line mode. Setting switch 1 to On puts the printer
in level 1 diagnostics (setup mode). Changing the other switches in level 1 diagnostics
can change settings that have been pre-set at the factory. See “Level 1 Diagnostics” in
“Chapter 4: Diagnostics” for more information.
3. Close the cover.
