• Preemphasis: Applies to Analog Left/Right and AES1/2 sources only. Select 0 us, 50 us or 75 us.

• MPX Level: Applies to MPX1/2 sources only. Set this parameter level in Vpp (typically 3.5 Vpp - 

100% modulation value). The allowable range for this setting is between 1-5 Vpp.

• Digital or DMPX Level: Applies to AES1/2 and DMPX AES1/2 sources only. Enter value between -

25.0 and 0 dBFS, with a typical setting of -4 dBFS (100% modulation value).

•

 Low Audio Alarm: When enabled, you can select the Low Audio Alarm Threshold and the Low 

Audio Alarm Timeout. The Low Audio Alarm only applies to the main audio source’s level. The 
backup audio source, if enabled and present, will replace the main audio source if the main 
audio level is less than its user-determined trip threshold (see 

Main Audio on page 2.2.106

). The 

main audio source will be restored as the active source if it returns and is present for at least 
one second.

Backup Audio Source: When a backup audio source type is selected (i.e., enabled), you can 

select a backup audio source and edit various parameters for the backup audio similar to the 
main audio described above. The backup audio source, if enabled and present, will replace the 
main audio source if the main audio level is less than its user-determined trip threshold (see 
Low Audio Alarm above). The main audio source will be restored as the active source if it 
returns and is present for at least one second. 

NOTE

: 

Backup Audio will only be used if the Main Audio’s Low Audio Alarm is enabled.

NOTE

: 

If you edit and save the Backup Audio settings after the transmitter switches over to the backup 

audio source due to a main audio source failure, the transmitter will switch back to the main audio 
source. If the main audio source is still in a failure state, the transmitter will switch back to the backup 
audio source, after the selected timeout period.
