Reboot Exciter/Controller

To perform an Exciter/Controller reboot, use the Front Panel rotary knob to select Confirm and press the 
Front Panel rotary knob to select. Press Cancel to return to the previous menu. See 

Figure 2.2.128

Rebooting the Exciter/Controller is synonymous with an ac cycle, where the state of the transmitter 
prior to the reboot will remain intact. All presets, user configured settings, etc. are saved and the 
transmitter returns to the operation prior to the reboot.

Software Upgrade

Periodically, enhancements or improvements to the operating system are identified and made available. 
The Software Upgrade screen allows the user to upgrade the VX Operating system.
