Spectrum Mask

Using the 

Spectrum Mask 

setting users can select the appropriate FM mask standard (

FCC, ETSI

 or 

None

) being used by the analyzer. The selection affects the mask lines on the remote AUI’s Spectrum 

Analyzer instrument. 

You can select  the FM mask standard using the remote AUI (see 

Selecting the FM Mask - Using the 

AUI

) or the local front panel UI (see 

Selecting the FM Mask - Using the Front Panel on page 2-144

). 

If you change the selection on the front panel UI, it will also be reflected on the remote AUI, and vice 
versa.

Selecting the FM Mask - Using the AUI

You can remotely select the FM mask standard using the AUI’s 

Spectrum Mask

 page (see 

Figure 2.118

) by selecting 

Spectrum Mask 

from the 

User Settings 

options.

Use the 

Mask Type 

pull down menu to select the appropriate mask standard (the factory setting is 

FCC

). Press the 

Apply

 button to save the change or press 

Cancel

 to discard changes.
