Power Supply Module Replacement

See Figure

MD-1

(top view) in the Mechanical Drawings section (Section 6) of this manual.

1. Remove the transmitter’s top cover. Retain hardware for re-installation.

2. Remove the securing bracket from the front of the power supply module (U2) by removing

two M3 screws . Note the orientation of the bracket for installation of the new power supply
module. Retain hardware.

3. Slide the power supply module toward the front of the transmitter to disengage it from its

mating connector.

4. Remove the power supply module from the transmitter.

5. Locate or obtain a replacement power supply module (Nautel Part # UG69J). Reverse

to reinstall the new power supply module.

6. Re-install the transmitter in its host cabinet, reconnect all interconnect cables and restore

operation by enabling ac and RF power.
