Enable Traps

check box to allow the SNMP agent to send trap notifications. and to

display two additional fields associated with traps. Enter the two additional fields as follows:

•

Trap Receiver IP

: Enter the IP address of the computer to which the SNMP agent will

send trap notifications. The computer must be running an SNMP application that is
configured to receive traps. The SNMP agent will send trap notifications to at most one
receiver.

•

Trap Receiver Port:

Enter the UDP port where the SNMP agent will send traps. The

default setting is 162.

3. When complete click

Apply

or click

Cancel

to restore the previous settings.
