Access to the Battery Compartment

Turn off the device.

Slide open the battery compartment lid on the rear of the device.

Remove the old battery by pulling it up from the bottom end.

Insert the new battery into the battery compartment making sure that the plus and minus contacts are
facing as indicated by the symbols.

Slide

close the battery compartment lid until it locks in place.

CAUTION: Do not use the device if the battery compartment lid is open, or not correctly locked in
place.

NOTE: It is recommended that the battery be removed from the device if it is not used for an extended
period.

NOTE: Used batteries should be disposed of according to normal hospital/clinic policy or local regulations.
