WARNING! Use the safety belt as soon as
your child can sit upright unaided.

1. Activate the parking brake (see section 3.3 on
page 11) before you place your child in the

seating unit.
2.  Use the sliding buckles (9) to shorten or
  lengthen the belt, if required.
3.  Place your child in the stroller and prepare
  the belts for fastening by placing the shoul-
  der belts (10) around the shoulders and the
  crotch strap (11) between your child’s legs.
4.  Push the buckles that are fastened to the
  shoulder straps into the center piece so that
  it clicks. Make sure that the buckles are
  correctly engaged in the center piece.
  You can open the seat belt again by pushing
  in the tongues of the buckles that are in the
  center piece and pulling out the buckles.

3.7 Putting on, adjusting and opening the safety belt

The backrest of the seating unit offers three heights for fastening for the two shoulder straps.

In order to change them, first release the existing fixation:

1.  Open the zipper at the back of the back-
  rest. Expose the plastic parts (12) that are
  at the back of the backrest and thereby
  fixate the attached shoulder straps in the
  belt holes.
2.  Insert the plastic parts (12) with the
  narrow edge first in the belt holes in the
backrest.

3.  Pull at the shoulder straps on the inside
  of the  backrest to pull the plastic parts
  (12) completely through the belt holes and
  thereby release the fixation of the
  shoulder straps.
