DESCRIPTION
LINE SELECTOR
has been designed to allow your attached telephone DEVICE
to be connected to 1 of 2 completely separate telephone lines. Full isolation
between telephone lines is provided.
The telephone lines used can be any combination of:
Standard PSTN Telephone Lines
PBX Extensions
FXS or FXO Ports (on IP systems)
ATA Analog Telephone Adaptors (For IP Network Connection)
Cellular Phone Gateways
LINE 1 - IS PROGRAMMED AS THE DEFAULT LINE
In the event of loss of power, Line Selector will default to this line.
You SHOULD ALWAYS connect your MAIN TELEPHONE LINE (POTS, PSTN or
your battery backed Fiber IP) to the LINE 1 port of LINE SELECTOR, so that you
can make emergency and other calls in the event that power is lost.
