DIAL IN PROGRAMMING LCU3

LCU3 can be programmed by simply calling in to it OR it can also be
programmed in exactly the same manner as LCU1 and LCU2 with a
telephone connected in parallel on the same line.

1A.

DIAL INTO LCU3. 

Press ### after it answers.

OR

1B)

TURN LCU3’s POWER OFF 

for a minimum of 5 seconds and

then Turn power ON again. Then press ### within 30 seconds to enter
programnming mode.You must use a telephone connected to the
Telephone LIne that LCU3 is connected to.

2.

YOUR  UNIT WILL OUTPUT 3 SHORT ‘BEEPS’

Do not proceed until you have heard 3 short beeps.
If you do not hear 3 beeps, return to the start (1).

3.

PRESS #1 to program Relay 1

You should hear 1short beep
If you do not hear 1 beep, return to the start (1).

4.

a) Enter 1, 2, 3 or 4 (this is number of DTMF digits in PIN)
    then
b)

 

Enter your 1, 2, 3 or 4 digit PIN

eg; If your PIN is 3579, you should enter 4 then 3579
eg; If your PIN is #7, you should enter 2 then #7
You should hear 1short beep
If you do not hear 1 beep, return to the start (1).

5.

ENTER  REQUIRED RELAY CLOSURE TIME

Enter 2 digits only (01 to 99) seconds
You should hear 3 short beeps
If you do not hear 3 beeps, return to the start (1).

If you do not intend to use Relay 2, proceed to step 9

6.

PRESS #2 to program Relay 2

If you do not hear 1 beep, return to the start (1).

7.

a) Enter 1, 2, 3 or 4 (this is the number of DTMF digits in PIN)
    then
b)

 

Enter your 1, 2, 3 or 4 digit PIN

eg; If your PIN is 9, you should enter 1 then 9
eg; If your PIN is 123, you should enter 3 then 123
You should hear 1short beep
If you do not hear 1 beep, return to the start (1).
