1.
TURN OFF POWER TO YOUR UNIT
FOR MINIMUM of 5
SECONDS
2.
SWITCH ON POWER AND PRESS ### (WITHIN 30 SECONDS)
You must use a telephone connected to the TELEPHONE LINE
that LCU is connected to.
3.
YOUR UNIT WILL OUTPUT 3 SHORT ‘BEEPS’
Do not proceed until you have heard 3 short beeps.
If you do not hear 3 beeps, return to the start (1).
4.
PRESS #1 to program Relay 1
You should hear 1short beep
If you do not hear 1 beep, return to the start (1).
5.
a) Enter 1, 2, 3 or 4 (this is number of DTMF digits in PIN)
then
b)
Enter your 1, 2, 3 or 4 digit PIN
eg; If your PIN is 3579, you should enter 4 then 3579
eg; If your PIN is #7, you should enter 2 then #7
You should hear 1short beep
If you do not hear 1 beep, return to the start (1).
6.
ENTER REQUIRED RELAY CLOSURE TIME
Enter 2 digits only (01 to 99) seconds
You should hear 3 short beeps
If you do not hear 3 beeps, return to the start (1).
You can now :
a)
Program LCU to respond to INCOMING calls only
b)
Program LCU to respond to YOUR CODE within a group of
digits.
Go to page 11
OR
c)
Hang Up if your programming is complete
