10.4 ember bed light replacement
Your appliance comes equipped with our Night Light™
and ember bed lights. The lights have been pre-wired
and can be controlled from your transmitter (see
Owner’s Manual for instructions).
In the event the lamp or lens needs to be replaced:
•
Turn off power to the appliance.
•
Remove the 4 screws securing the log support
assembly. Remove and set aside
(Fig. 1).
•
Remove the screws that secure lamp holder or the
lens frame. This frame retains the glass lens
(Fig. 2).
•
The lamp can now be accessed. Wiggle gently to
pull straight out of the socket.
note:
Do not handle the lamp (bulb) with bare fingers at
anytime. Oils from your fingers may damage the lamps.
Use dry cloth or gloves during installation.
note:
Do not over-tighten the screws, as this could break
the lens.
•
Replace the lamp with Wolf Steel parts only, as lamp
and lens are special “high temperature” products.
•
When re-installing, ensure integrity of gasket seal.
THE FIREBOX MUST BE SEALED.
“Light leakage” from the lower area may be noticed. The
holes in the lamp housing are necessary for ventilation
and must not be covered.
