Warning: Power Blower users risk injury to themselves and others if the power blower is used improperly and or safety precautions are not followed. Proper 

clothing and safety gear must be worn when operating a blower.

Physical Condition

Your judgment and physical dexterity may not be good; if you are tired or sick, if you are taking medication, if you have taken alcohol or drugs. Operate unit 

only if you are physically and mentally well.

Eye Protection

Wear eye protection that meets ANSIZ87.1 or CE requirements whenever you operate the machine.

Hand Protection

Wear no-slip, heavy duty work glove to grip on the blower handle. Gloves also reduce the transmission of machine vibration to your hands.

Breathing Protection

Wear a face mask to protect against dust.

Hearing Protection

We recommend wearing hearing protection whenever unit is used.

Proper Clothing

Wear coat guarding against poisons, durable clothing; Pants should have long legs, shirts with long sleeves.

DO NOT WEAR SHORTS. DO NOT WEAR TIES, SCARVES, JEWELLERY. Wear sturdy work shoes with non-skid soles;

DO NOT OPERATE UNIT BARE FOOTED. Keep long hair away from engine and blower intake. Retain hair with cap or net.

Equipment

Before operation a complete check of the unit must be performed: Check unit for loose/missing nuts, bolts and screws. Tighten and/or replace as needed.

Inspect fuel lines, tank and area around carburettor for fuel leaks. DO NOT operate unit if leaks are found. Keep exhaust area clear of flammable debris. Avoid 

contact during and immediately after operation.

Determine Operation Area

● Review area to be cleared.

● Look for potential hazards such as stones or metal objects.

● Spectators and fellow workers must be warned, and children and animals prevented from coming nearer than 15m while the blower is in use.

● Take wind conditions into account: avoid open doors and windows.

● Warn of the danger of rotating parts. The specifications of the spare parts to be used, when these affect the health and safety of operators.

● Use rakes and brooms to loosen debris before blowing.

● Slightly dampen surfaces in dusty conditions.

● Use the full blower nozzle extension so the air stream can work close to the ground.

● Provide all operators of this equipment with the Operator’s Manual and instructions for safe operation.

● Do not point the blowy pipe at people or animals.

● Start unit on ground with throttle at idle.

WEAR EYE AND HEARING PROTECTION WARNING:

OIL: Refer to operator’s manual for the proper type 

of oil.

KEEP BYSTANDERS AWAY WARNING: 

 

Keep all bystanders, especially children and pets, at  least 50 

feet (15 m) from the operating area. 

HOT SURFACE WARNING 

 

not touch a hot muffler, gear housing or cylinder. You may 

get burned. These parts get extremely hot from operation. 

 

They remain hot for a short time after the unit is turned off. 

THROWN OBJECTS CAN CAUSE SEVERE INJURY WARNING: 

 

Do not blow objects towards bystanders. Propelled objects 

can cause serious injury. 

BLOWER IMPELLER CAN CAUSE SERIOUS INJURY

 

Make sure to turn the engine off and wait for the impeller 

to come to a complete stop before opening the cage. Never 

insert hands into the vacuum tube while unit is on.
