Untitled, by default. You need to save the document to give the document a name,
which also stores any work you do for future retrieval.
To save the new document:
1. From the File menu, click Save.
Since the document has not yet been defined, the Save As a New Document window
displays.
2. For the example used in this guide, type the following:
My writer file
3. Click Save.
The Writer window displays with the document name in the Title bar.
To close Writer:
1. From the Title bar, click Done.
The Done window displays.
If you did not save the document, the Save it so I can use it again later button is
available. Click the button to save the document before closing the program. If you do
not save the document, any changes you made since the document was last saved are
deleted.
