Let sample flow continuously into conductivity cell cup with no

aeration.

Allow both the pH sensor well and conductivity cell cup to remain

filled with sample.

Press

. The instrument will begin alternating between a

predicted final ORP value and a free chlorine equivalent

concentration in ppm. Both readings will change rapidly at first.

Wait for the readings to stabilize. When the mV and ppm values

are unchanging for 5 consecutive readings, the FC

reading

has reached a stable level. This may take 1 to 2 minutes.

NOTE: If the reading takes more than 1 minute to stabilize,

press the

after 1 minute to prevent the Auto oFF feature

from disturbing the measurement process. Annunciators will

alert you when either the pH or ORP of the final FC

are Out of

Range (“-Or-”).

Press MS to store reading in memory if desired.

Immersion Method

NOTE: Use this method for pools, spas and other large standing bodies

of water.

Hold instrument beneath the surface of the water to avoid

surface effects on the water’s chemistry.

Swirl the instrument around for at least 10 seconds to thoroughly

rinse the conductivity cell cup and pH sensor well.

Continue holding the instrument under the surface while taking

the reading.

Press

The instrument will begin alternating between a predicted final

ORP value and a free chlorine equivalent concentration in ppm.

Both readings will change rapidly at first.

Wait for the readings to stabilize. When the mV and ppm values
