Note The fluid section can be rebuilt in place or easily removed and taken to a
workbench. Flushing the fluid section with suitable cleaning agent can make
the rebuild process easier.
WARNING
When removing pump fluid section, hoses, or resin surge chamber, be
sure to bleed off fluid pressure from the system before disconnecting.
Release the surge chamber charge prior to removing the surge chamber.
Systems under pressure may cause injury.
As you disassemble the equipment, lay out the components in the correct order and direction to
assist with reassembly later.
Required Items
 RED GREASE
 PAT-LS-OIL
 LOCTITE® 243 (REMOVABLE) OR EQUIVALENT THREAD LOCKING COMPOUND
 HEX WRENCH SET

8-INCH ADJUSTABLE WRENCH
 12-INCH ADJUSTABLE WRENCH

Lubrication
Throughout this manual, directions are given for lubricating various parts of the fluid section.
These are the lubricants used:

If the part contacts resin, use MVP Red Grease

If the part is located where it will contact air, use Lubriplate®

In the oil reservoir of the pump, use Throat Seal Oil (TSL-3200)

For use with ISO, use Throat Seal Oil (TSL-ISO-800)

For use with ISO, use ISO Grease (GR-ISO-100)
DANGER
Contaminated catalyst may cause fire or explosion. Before working on
the catalyst pump or catalyst accumulator, wash hands and tools
thoroughly. Never use lubricant on the components of the catalyst
